MULTIFARIOUS TRIO

Multifarious is an eclectic international trio with Sue McKenzie - saxophones (Scotland), Susan Mayo - cello (USA), and Paul Elwood - banjo (USA/France).

 

From jazz to avant-garde via bluegrass, the trio weaves inventive improvisations amongst diverse sounds and have played concerts in the Riney Fine Arts Centre, Knob Fest (Kansas), University of Northern Colorado, Thad Cochrane Centre (Hattiesburg), Cadek Hall (Chattanooga),  Chase Fine Arts Centre (Utah), Music Meeting Festival (Netherlands), Broadcast (Scotland), Le Jam"/ Le Corbusier (France) and Kontesa Jazz Club (Croatia).

Their music has been played on BBC Radio 3's "Freeness", BBC Radio Cambridge, Radio Jazz Kultura (Poland) and WUTC Radio.  They've also appeared on Dutch TV station, VPRO Vrije Geluiden.
